The Brown County Art Gallery Foundation has maintained a consignment room in its Nashville gallery for many years. It is a frequent stop over for dealers and collectors alike. For those who may have found a treasure in the attic that they want to sell, experts are available to help with evaluation and pricing. Not sure what you have? The Consignment room at the Gallery focuses on the work of early Indiana artists and maintains high standards regarding the quality of the artwork and its provenance. Paintings must be in good condition and reasonably framed. Conservation and framing services are available. We want the best possible paintings for our buyers.
A commission will be charged on any art that is sold with proceeds benefiting the non-profit Foundation. There may also be a hanging fee which will be refunded if the painting sells.
